Physical therapists apply research and proven techniques to help people get back in motion. All physical therapists are required to receive a graduate degree – either a masters or a clinical doctorate — from an accredited physical therapist program before taking the national licensure examination that allows them to practice. They are trusted health care professionals with extensive clinical experience who examine, 诊断, and then prevent or treat conditions that limit the body’s ability to move and function in daily life.

We have a newly renovated space with many new state of the art pieces of equipment such as the NeuroCom Smart Balance machine and long force plate to assist in diagnosing and treating balance, 协调, 还有步态障碍. Occupational therapy as a profession is concerned with promoting health and well-being through occupation. The primary goal of occupational therapy is to enable people to participate in the activities of everyday life. Occupational therapists achieve this outcome by enhancing the individual’s ability to participate, 通过改变环境, 或者通过调整活动来更好地支持参与.
